Carlton William Moore, Jr., 71, of 88 Cromwell Ave, Pittsfield, MA, passed away April 24, 2019 at home.
He was born in Pittsfield on February 24, 1948, to Carlton W. Moore, Sr., and Marjorie Armstrong Moore.
Mr. Moore was a United States Army Veteran, having served during Vietnam. He worked as a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed painting, making jewelry, doing car body work and loved cats and helping people.
He is survived by his daughters, Marjorie Garcia of Seven Springs, NC and Patricia McLoud of Los Angeles, CA; sons, Carlton W. Moore of MA, and Scott E. Moore of Lee, MA; his half-brother, George Brown of NY, and five grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2pm at The Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield.
