Obituary for Michelle L Lee

Michelle Louise Lee, 75, of Pittsfield, MA, passed away November 26, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on November 27, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose J. and Blanche Meunier Clement.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Berkshire Community College.

Michelle married Gerald M. Lee, Retired Police Chief of Pittsfield, on April 11, 1964.

Mrs. Lee worked as a registered nurse for 25 years, having worked at Hillcrest Hospital and was a volunteer for Hospice.

A communicant of Sacred Heart Church, she was a member of the Rosary Sodality and also volunteered at the church. She was a proud Democrat and enjoyed theater. Mrs. Lee volunteered at the Colonial Theater and Pittsfield Visitor Center. She took pleasure in travelling with her high school friends, spending time with family, taking walks, and sitting on her front porch with a good book.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 54 years, Gerald Lee, of Pittsfield; daughter Sharon Reif and husband Ronald of Falmouth, MA; sons, Michael Lee of Pittsfield, Brian Lee and wife Jodi of Dalton, and Thomas Lee of Sheffield, MA; her brother Peter Clement of Ludlow, MA; five grandchildren, Tara Lee, Ciara Lee, Samantha Lee, Eva Reif and Kingston Lee; as well as five great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Lee will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2018 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by Rev. Michael Bernier, Pastor. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
