Kathleen Adele Vosburgh, 87, of Dalton, MA, passed away May 21, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 26, 1930, the daughter of the late John J. and Rose A. Roy Brophy Harte, she was a 1948 graduate of Dalton High School. She was married to the late Eugene “Zeke” Vosburgh, who predeceased her on April 9, 2011.
Kathleen worked as a bookkeeper for 59+ years in the family business, Vosburgh Automotive, as well as 30+ years for Baystate Elevator, where she was still employed at the time of her death.

A communicant of St. Agnes Church, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind her daughter, Lynn Martin and her husband James of Pittsfield; three sons, Gary Vosburgh and his wife Karen of Hinsdale, Mark Vosburgh and his wife Sandra of Pittsfield, and John Vosburgh and his partner Tammy of Hinsdale; nine grandchildren, Brian, Peter, Cheryl, Shaun, Jessica, Kelly, Cassie, Lyndsay and Tyler; three great-grandchildren, Tiernan, Harper and Jake; a sister Rosemary Boino of Dalton, a brother Richard Brophy of West Stockbridge and sister-in-law Marcia Brophy of Dalton. She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Daniel Brophy.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Kathleen Adele Vosburgh, will be held, SATURDAY, May 26, 2018 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00am at St. Agnes Church with Rev. Christopher Malatesta, officiating. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be held FRIDAY, May 25, 2018 from 4-7:00pm at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 Main Street, Dalton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Church or Dalton Ambulance in care of the funeral home.
