Obituary for Ruth C. Quadrozzi

Ruth Constance Quadrozzi, 95, formerly of Colonial Gardens, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, July 1,
2014, at Mount Greylock Extended Care.
Born in Pittsfield on July 27, 1918, the daughter of Alfred J. and Stephanie Duval Boyer, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a June 1936 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Quadrozzi was employed by General Electric Company as an assembler. She retired in 1980 with 18 years service.
She had been a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
She enjoyed time spent with her family and going to the casinos.
Her husband, George J. Quadrozzi, whom she married April 27, 1940, in Notre Dame Church, died June 17, 2003.
Mrs. Quadrozzi is survived by two sons, George B. Quadrozzi and his wife, Karen, of Pittsfield,
and Douglas J. Quadrozzi and his wife, Holly, of Orange City, Fla.; a daughter, Jane M. Theroux and her
husband, William, of Pittsfield; two grandchildren, Rand Quadrozzi and Gregg Quadrozzi; and two great
grandsons, Anthony Quadrozzi and Vincent Quadrozzi.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Robert E. Boyer, and two sisters, Bernice Decelles and
Marion Andrew.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Ruth Constance Quadrozzi will be held Tuesday, July 8, at 11:00 a.m., at
DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor of St. Joseph
Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service
beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UNICO (Make A Wish) in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield. The family of Ruth Quadrozzi wishes to thank everyone at Mount Greylock Extended Care who has cared for our Mom and provided the support needed at this time. God bless you all for your dedication.
