Obituary for Lucille I. O'Bryan

Lucille I. O'Bryan, 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2016 at home in Lanesborough, MA. Lucille was born on November 19, 1951 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts where she grew up and graduated from Pittsfield High School. In 1972, she married her lifelong soulmate, William A. O'Bryan. Together they had two children, William A. O'Bryan Jr. and Michael J. O'Bryan. She worked at Berkshire Medical Center for a number of years before staying home to enjoy her three wonderful grandchildren; Anthony M. O'Bryan, Kaylee M. O'Bryan and Megan M. O'Bryan, whom she loved more than anything. In her younger years Lucille was an avid runner, canoer, and bike rider. She was very active and was very proud to have completed the Josh Billings Run-A-Ground a few times. During the winter months she often traveled to Florida with her husband and enjoyed the warmer weather. Lucille was predeceased by her mother, Marcella LaBelle, her step-mother, Cecile LaBelle, her father Charles LaBelle and her youngest brother, Marcel LaBelle. She is survived by her husband, William A. O'Bryan Sr., two sons; William A. O'Bryan Jr. and Michael O'Bryan. She also leaves her three grandchildren; Anthony, Kaylee and Megan O'Bryan. Four sisters; Rose Benoit, Marie Cimini, Lucy Hurley, and Anne Fox, one brother, Gerard LaBelle and numerous nieces and nephews.


FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Lucille I. O'Bryan who passed away March 14, 2016 will be private. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pittsfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Lucille may be made to the Lanesborough Volunteer Fire Department in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 which is handling arrangements.
