George F. Wrenn, 74, of 223 Fisher Hill Road, Cheshire, MA, peacefully passed away November 11, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Waterbury, CT on October 5, 1944, the son of the late Raymond and Anna O’Neil Wrenn, he was a graduate of Watertown High School and Ward Technical Institute.

He married the former Margaret Stanton on November 20, 1976.

George worked as an electronics technician from 1983 until 2007. He was employed by LaFrance Pools and Spas in Lanesboro, MA.

Mr. Wrenn was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Navy.

He enjoyed bartending at Munday’s in Glenndale.

Mr. Wrenn leaves behind his wife, Margaret Wrenn of Cheshire; daughter Kerry Disher and husband Ronald of Stephentown, NY, son Joseph Wrenn and wife Jessica Kelly of Cheshire, MA; two sisters, Kathy Barbieri and husband Peter of Richford, NY, and Nancy Hale of West Stockbridge, MA; as well as two grandchildren, Tucker Wrenn and Emmet Disher; and his sister in law Kathy Wrenn.

He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Wrenn.

FUNERAL NOTICE: There will be a Celebration of Life for Mr. Wrenn at the family home on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 12pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Scholarship Fund for Emmet Disher, in care of Dery-Cheshire Funeral Home, PO BOX 445, Cheshire, MA 01225.
