Condolence: Nonny, you will be sorely missed! Angie put it exactly right— it’s absolutely impossible to believe that you are gone. Your laughter was always so infectious. You had the best sense of humor and sense of perspective of anybody. You taught us all the importance of family... your wonderful legacy of children and great grandchildren speaks for itself! We all wanted what you and Poppy had. It was that special. It comforts me to see so many of your attributes in my dad. I love you, and I will miss you very much.

Condolence: I struggle to believe that you're gone, partly because I just don't want to and partly because you have always been so much larger than life. You were just more alive than most people are, and it made everyone around you feel more alive too. Thank you, Nonny, for seeing me as strong and brave even when I didn't feel that way. Thank you for making me feel so loved. I will always love you, always miss you, and my little Frances will grow up hearing stories of her indomitable namesake.
