The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of June MacLeod can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for June MacLeod

Our Mom, June MacLeod 92, of 58 Cleveland Street, passed away on July 17, 2018 at home. She was born in her beloved state of Maine to the late Lucian and Marguerite French.

June graduated from West Brook College in Maine, with an Associate degree. June married Donald Murray MacLeod, who passed away in 2003.

June was artist, enjoy making many crafts and entering numerous craft fairs. She was also an avid knitter, well known for the many sweaters she had made over the years. We would like to thank the many men in her life, who showed up to play cards with her every week.

She leaves behind her sons Shawn MacLeod and his family of Rutland Ma, Matthew MacLeod and his family of Pittsfield MA; daughter Bonnie MacLeod of Worcester MA. Her two favorite granddaughters, Sarah and Kaitlyn, and her new great grandson, Hendrix. Her sister-in-laws, Patricia MacLeod, Rene MacLeod. Her nieces, Sue Bell and Betsy Hamilton and their families, and her many nephews and nieces from Maine and New Hampshire. She also leaves her grand dog Gracie.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for June MacLeod will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Dery Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Salvation Army or Hospice Services of Western MA, in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201
