Obituary for Rose Nary

Rose  Nary
Rose M. Nary, 92, of 100 Patricia Avenue, Dalton, passed away July 23, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on July 24, 1925 to the late Carlo and Carmelia Digirolum, she was educated in Pittsfield Schools and attended Berkshire Business College.

Rose married Thomas Nary, on July 11, 1953 at St. Mary’s Church in Pittsfield. He predeceased her on June 4, 1983.

Mrs. Nary worked as a secretary for General Electric Company. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church and enjoyed bowling, sewing and golfing, and was a member at Wahconah Country Club.

She leaves behind her children, Michael W. Nary and wife Kathy of Newbury, MA, Timothy Nary of Dalton, Lynn Smith of Dalton, and William J. Nary of Seattle, WA. She also leaves her sister Flora Agar of Arizona; and two grandchildren, Ashleigh Smith and her fiancé Michael Anthony and Ryan Smith and his fiancé Chelsea Fahey.

Mrs. Nary was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Bell, Anita Tolvo, and Fred Giriolum.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Rose M. Nary will held on Thursday at 11:00am at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton, Celebrated by Rev. Christopher Malatesta, Pastor of St. Agnes. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Agnes Academy in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 E. Main Street, Dalton, MA 01226.
