John A. Dowling, Sr.,63 of Pittsfield, MA, passed away April 3, 2018. He worked for 20 years at BCAC as the operator of the food pantry, prior to this, he worked at General Electric Company.

He leaves behind a daughter, Sabrina Dowling; a son John A. Dowling Rooney, Jr.; six sisters, Linda Pinney, Deborah Dowling, Susan Dowling, Jean Dowling, Joann Dowling and Donna Petersen; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his companion Dawn Winters.

He was predeceased by a brother Albert Dowling in 2015.

Funeral services will be private.
