Condolence From: Don and Merry Lathrop
Condolence: Dear Kathy, We were deeply saddened to read of Gary's untimely death in today's Eagle. We are of an age when far too many friends are dying, but not usually as young as Gary. That makes the tragedy even more painful. We were pleased to read that he ended up teaching at Pittsfield High. I began my teaching career with four years at PHS and found them highly meaningful ones. The last times we saw Gary were on rare occasions when we saw him in the hall near my office at BCC. If I'm not mistaken, you and Gary went with several of us to New London to protest the impending launching of a Trident submarine and we did other things together many years ago at BCC. We wish you condolences and hope you will be able to find plenty of meaning in your continuing life. Peace and affection, Don and Merry Lathrop

Condolence: Please accept my sympathy at the passing of Gary, your Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Friend.... I first met Gary at IMCO Container in the 70's, where we worked together. When I saw him at General Dynamics 30+ years later, I was pleasantly surprised. I remember him as such a quiet, intelligent, and gentle soul. Rest in Peace Gary.

Condolence: My condolences, I worked with Gary at Crane's and Raytheon. He gave snowboard over ten years ago and taught me how to snowboard (ex-skier) at Jiminy Peak. He'll be missed.
