Obituary for Raymond Heath

Raymond  Heath
Raymond Edward Heath, 78, formerly of Lenox Ave, Pittsfield, died March 5, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born October 12, 1939 to the late Ralph and Edith Zahn Heath, he was a 1958 graduate of St. Josephs High School. Raymond joined the US Army and was stationed in Germany.

Raymond married the former Jo-Ann McGinty on September 5, 1960. He was predeceased by her on July 10, 2004.

He worked for 20 years at Rising Paper Company as a papermaker and also worked as a bookkeeper.

He was a communicant of St. Charles Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Raymond leaves behind his two daughters, Jennifer Hall and her husband Jonathan of Pittsfield and Julie Kovach and her husband Dave of Rhode Island; a sister Joan Blakesly of Dalton; and his grandchildren, Andrea and Amanda Vancini, Zachary, Nicholas, and Jacob Hall.

Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his son Timothy Heath who died at birth.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Raymond Edward Heath will be held, Friday, March 9, 2018 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. Michael J. Wood, Pastor. Calling hours will be from 4:00-7:00pm Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Dery Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ford Friends at Renal Dialysis in care of the funeral home.
