Heather L  Brennan
Pittsfield: Heather L. Brennan, age 57, passed away suddenly on February 21, 2018 after a courageous battle with Cancer. She was born on November 28, 1961 in Pittsfield, was educated here and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She completed her college education to become a teacher in Springfield.

Heather accepted a position as a paraprofessional for the City of Pittsfield Education Department. She had also worked as a customer service manager at the Pittsfield Dollar Tree and in recent years, she was a part of Electronics Inc. Corporation. She enjoyed: writing poems, tending to her rose garden, the night stars and astronomy, baseball, badminton, walking, modeling, and canoeing. She was a supporter of the International Allied Bully Society of Pennsylvania. She also volunteered for local educational organizations and, with her family, volunteered preserving our Nature Lands and Acreage.

In 1987, Heather was diagnosed with Cancer, was re-diagnosed in 2011 and 2012 with Cancer and with emphysema in 2015.

Heather is survived by her husband: Robert W. J. Brennan R.; her son: Matthew Eric Brennan (and his wife Diana “Di”); her parents: Ernest Jerry Moynihan and Carol Moynihan; her 3 grandchildren: Conner M. Brennan B, Brianna N. Brennan Cross, and Miss Kate Thomas. She will be greatly missed by her closest friends: Dottie, Jackie, Dorothy, Mark, James, Randy, Dave and Joe.

A family graveside service will be held Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 1:30pm at Pittsfield Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield to offset funeral expenses.
