Helen  Trasatti (Huska)
Helen Trasatti, 86, of South Street, Dalton, MA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Pittsfield on October 29, 1931, daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Osudchuk Huska. She was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1949 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Primarily a homemaker, Helen had worked from 1950-1957 at General Electric in the Information Shipping Department. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church and a member of the St. Agnes Rosary Society. She enjoyed the Women’s Afternoon Bowling League, crossword puzzles and travelling.

Mrs. Trasatti married John D. Trasatti on June 30, 1956 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was predeceased by him on January 5, 2011.

Helen leaves behind two sons: James C. Trasatti and wife Paula of South Hadley, MA and Jeffrey J. Trasatti of Dalton, MA; three daughters: Lynn M. Trasatti of Arlington, TX, Laurie A. Trasatti of Springfield, MA, and Lisa M. Trasatti of Warwick, RI; two grandchildren: Jenna Trasatti and Shannon Griffin; and a brother: William Huska and his wife Florence of Dalton, MA. She was predeceased by two brothers: John Huska and Stephen Huska, and five sisters: Dorothy Arpante, Nancy Palmer, Mary Vadala, Jessie LaMarche, and Ann Lynch.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be SUNDAY, March 4, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held MONDAY at 10:00 AM at St Agnes Church in Dalton with Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dalton Fire Department or St. Agnes Academy in care of the Dery Funeral Home.
