Judith A  Hall
Judith Ann (Brown) Hall, 76, of 20 Oak Hill Road, Pittsfield, MA died Friday, January 12, 2018 at her home with her husband and family at her side.
She was born on March 11, 1941, daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Brown. Judith attended public schools. She married her husband, Richard Hall on June 9, 1962 at St. Joseph's Church in Pittsfield. The couple recently celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary.
Judith is survived by her husband, Richard, two daughters, Karen and Colleen, husband Glen Pomeroy, son Richard and wife Alice all of Pittsfield, along with grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas Pomeroy, and many nieces and nephews. She will be united in peace by her preceded family her mother and father, Elizabeth and Andrew Brown and sisters Rosemary Dowd and Louise Farrugo, along with many other friends and family.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and took pride in her home. Judith worked for area businesses including St. Luke's Hospital, First Agricultural Bank, Eaton Paper Company, and Melbourne Assisted Living. She was also a private caregiver.
She was a devout catholic and attended church regularly. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family and friends, crafts, cooking and collecting angels. She loved to shop while always thinking of others. She was generous and loving and supported many charities including The Jimmy Fund, Save the Children, and St. Jude’s Hospital.
The family of Judith Hall would like to thank the supportive clinicians of Kindred at Home, her private caregivers Lorie Mitchell and Gabby Lombardi for their gentle and loving care, Elder Services, and the HospiceCare of the Berkshires team especially Danielle, Kim. Billy Jo, Tracy, Jill, and Misty for their compassionate care and bereavement support.
