Obituary for JoAnn J Wells
JoAnn J. Wells, 78, of Frost Road, Washington, MA, passed away January 1, 2018 at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center in Lenox.
Born in Pittsfield on March 3, 1939 to the late Louis E. Jacob and Bessie Rothwell Jacob, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Wells married the late Robert R. Wells on March 2, 1957. She was a secretary for 30 years, working at the family business, Washington Mt. Precision Machine Shop and also at Berkshire Life. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Mrs. Wells enjoyed fishing, camping and knitting.
She leaves two daughters, Lori Belknap and her husband Brian of Pittsfield, and Shana Gendreau of Westfield, a son, Robert Wells, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Washington, and a brother Howard Jacob of Avon, CT. Mrs. Wells also leaves seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Besides her husband who passed away on December 2, 2013, she was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn Eastwood.
