Alice D. Collins, 84, of Pittsfield, MA passed away December 28, 2017 at Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox, MA.

Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on February 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Jose Ferreira and Deolinda Mendonca Ferreira.

She married her husband, the late Ronald F. Collins, in July of 1952. He died on September 18, 1992. Mrs. Collins was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo and doing puzzles. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.

Mrs. Collins leaves behind her children Richard A. Collins, his wife Peggy of Pittsfield; Diane L. Davis and her husband William, of Pittsfield; a sister, Lucinda Thibodeau of Pittsfield, five grandchildren, Jessica Dietlin of Pittsfield; Derek Davis, of Pittsfield, Dustin Collins of Texas; Christopher Collins of Texas and Cody Collins of Pittsfield; and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son Ronald J. Collins who died in February 2004; a daughter Lynn Marie Collins who died September 1972; and her sister Loretta Pettit.
