Obituary for Ralph E. Kudlate

Ralph  E.   Kudlate
Ralph E. Kudlate, 59, of 28 New Hampshire Avenue passed away at home on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Born on January 12, 1958 in Pittsfield, he was a son of the late Robert and Ruth White Kudlate. A lifelong Pittsfield resident, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1976 graduate of Taconic High School. He was employed for seventeen years as a dry cleaner at the former Stetson Cleaners and at RUS Uniform Rental in Pittsfield for ten years. He retired in 2004. He was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church. He enjoyed baseball, football, NASCAR and photography. He was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He leaves two sons; Matthew R. Kudlate and his wife Jessica Schrump of Pittsfield and Kyle R. Kudlate and his girlfriend Ava Joy of Pittsfield. A sister; Robin E. Durso and her husband Peter of Pittsfield and a brother; Robert E. Kudlate of Pittsfield. He also leaves three grandchildren; Emma, Mia and Liam. He was predeceased by a grandson; Aiden Matthew Kudlate, a brother; Richard E. Kudlate and by his former wife; Kelly J. Gerwaski.


FUNERAL NOTICE: A Prayer Service for Ralph E. Kudlate who passed away November 25, 2017 will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 5:30 PM at the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield conducted by the Rev. Peter Gregory, pastor emeritus of St. Charles Church. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 5:30 PM prior to the prayer service. Burial will be private. Memorial donations in memory of Ralph may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
