Obituary for Josephine Isabelle Daly (Baumann)

Josephine Isabelle Daly, 93, formerly of Pleasant Street, Dalton, died Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Berkshire Place in Pittsfield.
Born in Windsor, Mass., on April 9, 1924, the daughter of Augustus and Lida Hathaway
Baumann, she was a graduate of Windsor and Dalton schools.
Mrs. Daly was employed by Crane & Company, Inc., where she finished her 44 years service as a supervisor at the Stationery Mill. She retired in 1986 .
She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church.
She enjoyed being with her family.
Her husband, Henry A. Daly, died October 18, 1992.
Mrs. Daly is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. Ames of Dalton; two sons, John F. Daly and his wife, Trish, of Dalton, and Richard H. Daly and his wife , Leann Daly of Salisbury, N.C.; three grandchildren, Kimberly Ames and her husband, Lucas ,Shaun Daly and his wife Mellissa, and Matthew Daly and his wife Lynsey; step grandson, Michael Puntin and his wife, Trisha; and ten great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by a son-in-law, David Ames and a grandchild, David Ames.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Josephine Isabelle Daly will be held Thursday, September 28, with
a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
