Obituary for Gary Stevens

Gary Lynn Stevens, 54, of 240 Francis Avenue, Pittsfield, died Thursday, June 29, 2017,
at Hillcrest Commons.

Born in Manhattan, New York, on August 14, 1962, the son of Johnson and Emmaline Williams Stevens, he was a graduate of New York City schools and attended St. John’s College.

He has been a resident of Pittsfield for the past 23 years.

Mr. Stevens had been employed by Cavalier Property Management, The Glass Place,
and in earlier years by Burger King and Crane & Company.

Mr. Stevens leaves his wife, Felisa Bruno Whitfield-Stevens, whom he married June 23,
2006.

He is also survived by two sons, Derek Williams of Miami, Fla. and Sean Thompson also of Florida; three stepdaughters, Cass Lynn Whitfield of Adams, Brittany Whitfield of Oregon, and Deidre Whitfield of Georgia.

He was pre-deceased by Johnson Royal Stevens, Johnson Royal Stevens, II., Emmaline Stevens, Alice Back, Tyrone Stevens, Ernest Stevens, and Emma Ann Stevens.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Gary L. Stevens will be private. There are no calling hours. The DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
