Obituary for Mary Alice Cole (Belair)

Mary  Alice  Cole (Belair)
Mary Alice (Belair) Cole, 73, of Ocala, Florida, passed away in her home on May 2, 2017.
She was born in Adams on July 24, 1943 to Joseph and Simone (Belval) Belair-Wojcik. She attended Notre Dame Elementary and Adams High School.
Mrs. Cole was an accomplished machinist and employed by Lockheed Martin (formerly
General Electric) of Pittsfield for thirty years. During her career with G.E., Mrs. Cole won an award for innovation and acquired several promotions until her retirement in 1998.
Mrs. Cole married Mr. Roger Cole on January 4, 2003. Mr. Cole, formerly of Pittsfield, was also a machinist by trade and worked with Pierce Machine in Dalton, where he retired in 1999. He died May 1, 2016.
Mrs. Cole was a talented painter who loved to bowl. She loved to laugh and enjoyed
good conversation, a cup of coffee, and a card game. She attended service regularly at St.
Mary’s Episcopal Church in Belleview, Fl.
Mrs. Cole leaves behind her eldest son, Eric J. LaRoche of Cheshire; two daughters, Michelle J. Kastner of Fort Worth, TX; and Melanie M. LaRoche-Arnaldi of Abbotsford, British
Columbia, Canada, as well as 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Darren F. LaRoche, of Savoy.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
Calling hours for Mary Alice Cole will be held Friday, May 26, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at
DERY FUNERAL HOME in PITTSFIELD. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
