Condolence: Dear Wilhelm, Pauli, Lini, Walter, Herbert and Eric Paula and my mom maintained in contact by writing letters throughout the years. You could see as the years went on, she had difficulties in writing by hand-- but Paula was determined to keep us updated about the family, the farm, and events. It showed here self-discipline, her will to keep going no matter how bad the pain was. I enjoyed our chats in the kitchen, when I was visiting her and Willy in Hinsdale. Besides lot of work, there was always time to go for a visit, to take a walk, to share memories. This I will never forget. For Paula and Willy, family came first. Paula will always be remembered and very much missed. The deepest sympathy from me and my mom. Auf Wiedersehen, your cousin Gabi Uhl

Condolence: Dear Eric, Herbie, Walter, Linda, Paulina, and Willie: I have such wonderful memories of your family and your dear Mom . . . she was such a beautiful, kind lady. I always loved walking to church with you all, and spending time at your farm. One special memory I have is your Mom serving Eric and I hot goat's milk after a day of sledding. She was always so welcoming and generous. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. With love, Lisa (Marran) Ruokis

Condolence: Dear Ulmer Family, I will never forget the smile your Mom always had when I would come to visit. She was always baking something good. I remember her telling me she used goats milk in a lot that she made. As a child then I would come over a lot, she was always nice to me. I learned from her some of the traditions of Austria. I will remember the happy times we had as friends. Hopefully those memories will help heal the pain you are feeling. Friends Lois Bourassa Keser

Condolence: Dear Ulmer Family, Your mother was a wonderful example of strength and commitment to all who knew her. She dedicated her later years to her family despite many struggles with her health. We admired her perseverance and love for family. As you grieve her loss, we will ask God for comfort and peace for all the family. Her strength will continue to live on in each of you. Condolence From: Will Ulmer
Condolence: Paulina Ulmer spent her entire life caring for her family. She always put others first. Her actions were constantly filled with generosity and industry. Often, she would be so concerned with the needs of her husband and children that she would go without. Paulina was all about giving. Both Paulina and her husband, Wilhelm, were the "A Team" when it came to raising a family. They were very honest, hardworking, and responsible. They spent their entire lives being very strong, positive role models for their children. Paulina and Wilhelm left a legacy of honor and compassion for others. Even strangers were usually treated with warmth, hospitality, and respect. We, the remaining Ulmers, are very fortunate to have had "Omi" and "Opa" in our lives. Auf Wiedersehen ...
