Obituary for Paulina Ulmer
On October 13 2015, Mrs. Paulina Ulmer, 88, of Hinsdale, Ma. passed away at her home surrounded by her family. It was 63 years, to the day, from her wedding to our deceased father, Wilhelm.
Paulina was born on May 18, 1927 in Zell am See, Austria, a daughter of the late Markus and Paulina Scheiflinger Kritzer. Paulina received her nursing degree in Salzburg, Austria in 1949. While on duty as a nurse in Salzburg, Paulina met and cared for her future husband. On October 13, 1951, Paulina and Wilhelm wed. After emigrating to the US in 1952, Paulina and Wilhelm made a wonderful life together. Paulina was a compassionate mother and friend. Her unwavering example of care and inspirational guidance will forever be remembered and sorely missed. Paulina is survived by six children, Wilhelm, Paulina, Linda, Walter, Herbert and Eric, 12 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
The omission of flowers is requested and that memorials be made in her memory to Hospice Care of the Berkshires or Hinsdale Ambulance Fund, in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St. Dalton, Ma. 01226 which is handling arrangements.
