Obituary for Beverly A. Vallee

Beverly Ann Vallee, 69, of Swamp Road, Lanesborough, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on March 11, 1947, the daughter of Albert H. and Ruth Smith Morrissey, she was a 1966 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Returning to school to pursue a career change, Mrs. Vallee then graduated from Holyoke Community College in 1993 with an associate degree in Animal and Veterinary Science.
Mrs. Vallee was the owner-operator of Carousel Dog Grooming for ten years. She had
been previously worked 17 years for General Electric Company in its Ordnance Systems Division.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and spent her Summers lovingly crocheting mittens which she gave to The Christian Center. She also enjoyed spending time with her two dogs and riding horses.
She leaves her husband, Paul F. Vallee, who she married July 8, 1967.
Mrs. Vallee is also survived by a son, Paul A. Vallee and his wife, Marianne, of Lenox; a
daughter, Teresa Davenport of Pittsfield, a sister, Barbara Scislowsky of Schenectady, New York; an uncle, Arthur Smith of North Adams, and an aunt, Patricia Smith of North Adams; four
grandchildren, Emily Vallee Oium, Jordan Davenport, Kasey Vallee, and Cole Davenport; as well
as her two dogs, Lenox and Casper.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Albert H. Morrissey, Jr.
Mrs. Vallee's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and respiratory care staff
at Berkshire Medical Center for their wonderful care.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Mrs. Vallee will be private with burial to be in Pittsfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
