Obituary for Eileen Woodcome Vinyard
Eileen Mary Woodcome Vinyard, 96 of Lighthouse Point, Florida and formerly of Dalton, MA died on her birthday Sunday November 20, 2016 at her home in Florida. Born on November 20, 1920 in Dalton, MA a daughter of t6he late Joseph and Hazel Bentley Woodcome. She attended schools in Dalton and was a 1938 graduate of the former Dalton High School. Eileen had worked as a payroll clerk for Meekins, Inc. in Hollywood, Florida for many years. She was a communicant of Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Florida.
She is survived by several cousins including, Mary Woodcome of Dalton, Anne Callahan of Pittsfield, Pauline Layton of Albany, NY, Andrew Woodcome of Louisiana and Sr. Joan of New York. Also by many friends including Anne Smith of Florida. She was predeceased by two sisters, Jean M. and Frances Woodcome.
Funeral Notice: Graveside services will be held in the spring of 2017 at Ashuelot Cemetery, Dalton, MA. There are no calling hours. Memorials in her memory may be made to The American Lung Association in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St. Dalton, MA 01226, which is handling arrangements.
