Obituary for Annmarie Leone

Annmarie Leone, 53, of 12 Melrose Avenue, Pittsfield, died peacefully Wednesday, January 18, 2017, surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Pittsfield on April 9, 1963, the daughter of Barbara A. McCluskey Leone and
the late Samuel S. Leone, she was a graduate of Taconic High School and attended Berkshire Community College.
Miss Leone was most recently employed by City of Pittsfield where she had been the Administrative
Assistant to the Director at the Berkshire Athenaeum and before that worked in the City Treasurer's Office.
Her greatest joy was being the mother to her three adopted children. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and drawing. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family and friends.
Besides her mother of Pittsfield, Miss Leone leaves her three daughters, Isabella, Sophie, and Mia Leone, all of Pittsfield; her sister, Cathy A. Leone-Casey of Orlando, FL; her brother, Samuel A. Leone of Vancouver, WA; and her friend and caregiver, Holly Gangell, of Evergreen, CO.
She was pre-deceased by her father, Samuel S. Leone and a brother, Keith Leone.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Annmarie Leone will be held Tuesday, January 24, at 9:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mark Church celebrated by Rev. David E. Aufiero, Administrator. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Annmarie's memory can be made to Hospicecare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
